What is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, a naturally occurring chemical compound classified as a phytocannabinoid and found prominently in the hemp plant. CBD is a specific non-intoxicating cannabinoid which positively affects all biological systems in the body via the endocannabinoid system and is known to provide a host of health benefits for humans and animals.

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are a diverse class of organic chemical compounds that are naturally produced in all manner of living things. When produced within plants they are called phytocannabinoids. When produced within humans and animals they are called endocannabinoids. Our bodies contain hundreds of these endocannabinoids, which act upon our neural cell receptors (CB1 and CB2) altering the release of neurotransmitters. CB1 receptors are located mostly in the brain and CB2 receptors are spread throughout the body. Phytocannabinoids are almost identical in physical structure to endocannabinoids, which allows them to interact with the internal system that our endocannabinoids use, the endocannabinoid system or ECS.

If you have a serious medical condition or use prescription medications, consult with a physician before use. A Doctor’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.

What is Full-Spectrum CBD?

Full-Spectrum CBD contains all the vital cannabinoids that are naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. These cannabinoids work synergistically to create the “Entourage Effect”, which helps increase the healing power of the cannabinoids by working together.

Most Full Spectrum extracts contain the following cannabinoids: CBD, CBDV, CBN, THCV and less than 0.3% THC.

What is Broad-Spectrum CBD?

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil possesses almost identical cannabinoids and attributes like its brother “Full Spectrum”. However, what makes it slightly different is that it doesn’t contain any THC content.

What is CBD Isolate?

CBD isolate is a crystalline powder made up of pure CBD. It is extracted using ethanol which has been around for centuries for herbal remedies. It does not contain any THC content and will not cause any intoxication or feelings of being high. This CBD is made in Canada and ensures all products are third-party lab tested for quality & safety.

What is Water Soluble CBD?

Water Soluble CBD offers all the same benefits you’d expect from traditional forms. It provides 5-10x greater bioavailability and provides faster and greater absorption than conventional CBD oils.

Water-Soluble CBD is one of the fastest-acting forms of CBD due to the higher bioavailability it contains.

Is CBD safe for pets?

When accurate doses are administered based on weight and the plant source of the CBD meets high quality standards, CBD is completely safe for pets and we recommend a dosage of 250mg to 500mg to start. All products will have a logo with a paw indicating it is for pets.

What are the effects?

Please consult with a physician before use if you have a serious medical condition or use prescription medications. A Doctor’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.

What are the side effects?

There are no known major side effects of using CBD. However, due to improper usage, you may experience some minor side effects of using CBD such as fatigue & drowsiness.

How long does it last?

The noticeable effects of CBD generally last for about 4 to 6 hours. CBD concentration in the bloodstream drops significantly each hour after the initial dosage and after approximately 7 hours, its overt effects wear off.

However, this doesn’t mean that CBD has fully exited the body. In most cases it takes about 4-5 days for remnants and traces to be eliminated entirely. Until that point CBD will continue to work alongside the natural endocannabinoids to optimize the body’s systems.

When it should not be used?

If you have a serious medical condition or use prescription medications, consult with a physician before use. A Doctor’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.

The result is a raw oil with high CBD, virtually free of THC (less than 0.3%,) and it comes in two forms: Pure CBD and Full-Spectrum CBD.
